Research Use Only (RUO) Terms

1. Research Use Only

All products offered by PepSynex (“we”, “us”) are sold strictly as research chemicals for laboratory and research use only (RUO). They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, and they are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, treatment, cure, prevention of any disease, or for any in-vivo application. No statement on this website has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any equivalent regulatory authority.

2. Permitted use

Products may be used only for legitimate scientific, analytical, and research purposes carried out by appropriately qualified individuals in a controlled laboratory setting, including:

• In-vitro (test-tube / cell-culture) research and assay development;
• Analytical reference, method validation and quality-control work;
• Educational and academic research where permitted by the institution.

3. Buyer eligibility

By placing an order you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 21 years of age and legally able to enter into this agreement;
• You are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, laboratory, university or company, and are competent to handle research chemicals safely;
• You will use the products only for the permitted research purposes described above.

4. Prohibited use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:

• Administer, ingest, inject, or otherwise introduce any product into the body of a human or animal;
• Resell, repackage, or distribute any product for human or veterinary consumption, or represent it as suitable for such use;
• Use any product in any food, drug, cosmetic, supplement, or medical device;
• Use any product in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation.

Title and risk for handling pass to you on delivery, and you assume full responsibility for the safe, lawful, and appropriate use, storage, and disposal of the products.

5. Handling & safety

Research chemicals must be handled only by trained personnel using appropriate personal protective equipment and laboratory controls. Store lyophilized material cool, dry, and away from light. We provide a per-batch Certificate of Analysis for identity and purity; we do not provide dosing, protocol, or usage guidance of any kind.

6. Your compliance responsibility

You are solely responsible for determining whether a product may be lawfully imported, purchased, possessed, and used in your jurisdiction, and for complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws and institutional policies. Regulations vary by country and region; ordering does not constitute advice that any product is legal in your location.

7. No warranty for non-research use & limitation of liability

Products are provided for research use only and without warranty of fitness for any other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PepSynex shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from any use of a product outside the permitted research scope or in breach of these terms. By purchasing, you agree to indemnify and hold PepSynex harmless against any claim arising from your use or misuse of the products.
